The Church of Scientology Choir opened the event singing traditional Holiday carols on the steps of the Information Center. Bystanders sang along with the choir who performed in Victorian style costumes. The performers then walked east on Cleveland Street, singing, stopping along the way to invite families and children to participate.
Holiday treats including hot chocolate were provided at the reception and were sampled by event goers during their visit of the Center. For most guests, this was their first time visiting the Information Center. Guests also viewed the Center’s gallery of informational panels and several videos on display covering the beliefs of Scientology, Churches around the world and about the life and history of Scientology’s founder, Mr. L. Ron Hubbard.
“The center is open for visitors to stop and spend a moment to see for themselves what Scientology is. It provides a perfect opportunity for those who like to learn first-hand and make up their own minds,” said Information Center Manager Amber Skjelset.
