The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is ready to be released to the market but before this can happen, details about the new smartphone have already been leaked. More info is being posted and the latest bit has to do with supposed photos of the device.
The person responsible for the most recent Samsung Galaxy Note 9 leak was famous tech leaker Evan Blass. Responding to a tweet by tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee, he posted an image of a phone with an S Pen. The picture shows the front and back of the new Samsung Note.
Looking at the image, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has a strong resemblance to the Note 8, complete with the S Pen Stylus. In another leak that was previously published, the features and specifications were highlighted and various sources confirmed this, thus everything leaked so far seems to be legit.
Specifications
As per AndroidHeadlines, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will have an upgraded processor. It will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and paired with 6GB of storage with a minimum of 64GB. Then again, the publication shares that combination of the processor and storage may differ from the international versions that are expected to have Samsung’s own Exynos 9810 chip.
Looks
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is expected to come out with a 6.4-inch display with the same 2960 x 1440 resolution like the Note 8. It can easily be mistaken for the Note 8 since the exterior also features the same Infinity Display that offers a smooth, uninterrupted surface that seamlessly flows over the edges. In short, it has that nice edge-to-edge bezel-less screen.
AndroidHeadlines stated that the first photos of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 were provided to them by a reliable source, thus it can be assumed that the leaked images are the official form of the device.
Camera, Battery and OS
The camera fitted into Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has a 12MP dual pixel sensor, while an 8MP front camera will come in handy for perfect selfies. The battery will surely last for long hours as it is said to have a capacity of 4,000mAh. The latest Galaxy Note smartphone will run on Android Oreo.
Price
Forbes notes that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is expensive. The publication based its report on the information that was posted on SpiderWeb, a Polish tech site. In Poland, a local Samsung representative was said to have confirmed that the phone will have an introductory price of PLN 4,299 which is equivalent to US$1,159.
Release Date
Korea’s giant tech company is expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 through a special event on Aug. 9. Buyers can choose from a range of colors, including Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue and Teddy Brown.
