“Outlander” lead actor Sam Heughan is once again reportedly dating Amy Shiels of “Twin Peaks.” This is not the first time the two are rumored of being a couple. However, they are both yet to confirm these speculations.
Us Weekly reported on Wednesday that “multiple sources” have told them about Heughan and Shiels’ relationship. The “Twin Peaks” actress was reportedly seen attending the Los Angeles premiere of “The Spy Who Dumped Me” — a movie starring Heughan, Mila Kunis, Kate McKinnon, and Justin Theroux — last July 25.
Sam Heughan and Amy Shiels were not seen, even in photographs, together during the premiere. However, these recent dating rumors were further ignited by claims that the long-time friends were seen enjoying each other’s company at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood just two days after the “The Spy Who Dumped Me” event.
As mentioned earlier, both actors have been good friends for years. So, to be fair, hearing they are hanging out together is not earth-shattering news. However, this is not the first time the two sparked dating rumors.

Back in 2014, many believed that they were taking their relationship to the next level after Amy Shiels liked a tweet suggesting that she and Sam Heughan together is a “beautiful couple.” In 2016, the two were reportedly dating again but remained mum on the issue. Now, two years later (again), reports claim Heughan and Shiels are dating. However, it is best for fans to wait for the celebrities’ confirmation.

Apart from “The Spy Who Dumped Me,” Sam Heughan is also starring in “Outlander” season 4. The series has a very intricate and captivating story, thanks to its mastermind and best-selling author Diana Gabaldon as well as Ronald D. Moore, who developed the material for TV. But it is also safe to say that the show is not hard to sell because of Heughan and Caitriona Balfe’s chemistry.
Their onscreen romance works so well that many fans are seriously hoping that they would end up together in real life. However, that is something hard to believe considering the facts. For one, Balfe is happily engaged with her long-time partner Tony McGill. Meanwhile, Sam Heughan is being linked to other women from time to time.
