About Color Me Rad: A Color Community
Inspired by the Holi Festival of India, a group of friends decided to bring tangible excitement to the sport of running through color, music, and a total disregard for the mundane. Color Me Rad was born and traditional 5k’s have never been the same. This infamous 5K has brought splashes of color and joy worldwide since 2012. Over 1.5 million participants have experienced its multitude of hues, as they begin their races in clean white t-shirts, and finish as multicolored masterpieces. Finishers celebrate their accomplishment with the ultimate post-race party, which includes color throws, contests, dancing, and DJs. Nationally renowned - the 5k is in over 50 cities including international locations proving to truly be an American entity to be reckoned with.
RAD SOCIAL: Bringing Color To New Heights
Building new trends through cross promotion and making color adventures last past the finish line.
We are tapping into fitness blogging trends and engagement with Instagram’s latest “story” features. Enabling work out ambassadors to train all bodies and levels for their personal Color 5k goal. Our team strives to continue to capture ever RAD moment: it’s undeniable energy and unique facets that make this 5k unlike any other.
“Color Me Rad is a 5K for everyone. I ran my first 5k at Color Me Rad and never thought it would be addicting. I am a runner now and am doing my third 5k in color this summer. The rest is history! ”- Jessi Holland, Salt Lake City
