The upgrades coming from the Apple family seems to be endless. Recent rumors suggest that the Cupertino company is planning to announce 21.5-inch Retina iMac next week with 4k resolution.
According to 9to5 Mac, while new computers are expected to start showing up in stores as early as Tuesday, October 13th, Apple will ramp up production in November, according to the sources, thereby making it difficult to find one early on.
Going by the physical appearance, the new 4K iMacs will be similar to the current non-4K version, so the USP of the upgrade will be the new 4096 x 2304 screen and much faster graphics cards. The noticeable difference in the 27-inch iMac and 27-inch iMac Retina with 5k resolution is that the former has a Widescreen display with 2560x1440 pixel resolution, while the latter has Retina display with 5120x2880 display.
The retina 4k version is also expected to come pre-loaded with El Capitan and will likely be priced somewhat higher than the non-4K variants.
The iPhone maker has also been working on wireless accessories - a new Magic Mouse 2 with Force Touch integration and a new Bluetooth Keyboard with improved battery life. It is uncertain at the moment if these accessories will be launched alongside the new Mac, 9 to 5 Mac reported.
