Arlington, VA, Sept. 20, 2017 -- In another nod to the continued innovation fueling its products, Rosetta Stone Inc. (NYSE: RST), today announced that Learn Languages with Rosetta Stone has been recognized by the Mobile UX Awards as the Best Productivity & Utilities app on the iOS platform. Selected by a panel of more than 50 esteemed judges from companies including Facebook, Airbnb, Evernote, and LinkedIn, Rosetta Stone’s flagship mobile app was rewarded for presenting its award-winning language programs in a fun, easily digestible form through its app.
“Rosetta Stone strives to make our products accessible to a worldwide audience of language learners. We recently improved our mobile products and we’re excited to continue to drive innovation to make our service available anywhere—whether at home, in school or in the workplace,” said Matt Hulett, President of Language at Rosetta Stone.
The Mobile UX Awards evaluate all apps considered using a five point criteria: UI Design, Animations, Content, Onboarding and Overall Experience. Judges rate each point on a scale of 1-10 and some awards have additional evaluation criteria (i.e. Purchase Experience).
“Our mission is to celebrate the mobile industry by showcasing incredible mobile apps whose experience is exceptional in every way,” said Alan Nowogrodski, Founder of the Mobile UX Awards. “An industry leader in the language space for more than two decades, Rosetta Stone continues to innovate its products to deliver the best learning experience for its audience, and that shines through in the latest iteration of their iOS app.”
Earlier this year, Rosetta Stone refreshed the user experience of its app and deployed added content and features within the program. Learn Languages with Rosetta Stone’s bold new design gained immediate traction with learners and has helped to drive increased engagement.
For more than 25 years, Rosetta Stone has led the industry in leveraging technology to accelerate language learning through its immersive curriculum. Developed by language and education experts, the Learn Languages with Rosetta Stone mobile app is packed with powerful and useful tools such as Rosetta Stone’s revolutionary TruAccent™ speech recognition technology, hands-free audio lessons, recordable stories, easy access Phrasebook, and much more.
