Ripple Labs, a San Francisco-based startup, has recently joined the International Payments Framework Association (IFPA). The IFPA provides a set of rules, regulation and guidance to improve cross-border payments.
"IPFA rules - when they are appropriately modified for Ripple - help us create a complete, real-time, cross border payment system", said Nilesh Dusane, director of business development at Ripple Labs, while adding that the company was "very excited" to join the network.
