Rand Paul, Kentucky Senator and Republican presidential candidate, will appear at a bitcoin-based event to be held in New York City on 19th April.
It will be hosted by Blockchain Technologies Corp, a start-up incubator associated with Bitcoin Center NYC.
Paul came into the limelight earlier this month as he became the first candidate in the 2016 presidential race to accept bitcoin donations. The news triggered debate among commentators as to whether Paul stands to gain from acceptance of cryptocurrency or if other candidates would follow his footsteps to accept bitcoin donations.
