It has only been a few weeks since the third season of “Rainbow Six Siege” Year 4 was released. However, it would not hurt to start looking through the rumor mill and build expectations on the new contents to be released for the final season update.
Luckily, Ubisoft maintains a consistent roadmap for the game since it launched in 2015. Each year features four seasonal updates released roughly three months apart. Each season’s highlight is the addition of two new Operators.
‘Rainbow Six Siege’ Year 4 Season 4: What to expect from the upcoming Operators
Ubisoft has also been offering Year Passes, so the developer is somewhat obliged to reveal teasers for upcoming seasonal updates ahead of time. This is why it has been known for a while now that the closing update for “Rainbow Six Siege” Year 4 will introduce new Operators that come from Kenya and India.
It is still too early to find specific details about the successors of Goyo and Amaru. But it would not be surprising if leak information will emerge about “Rainbow Six Siege” Year 4 Operators in the next couple of months. Gamers can still expect that one of the recruits play the attacker role while the other is a defense expert. Operators’ skills are also maximized by introducing new or improved weapons tailored to their combat strengths.
Fans can also not expect to learn about the exact release date of “Rainbow Six Siege” Year 4’s closing season for a few more months. But note that since Year 2, all season 4 updates went live in early December. Season 3, dubbed as “Ember Rise,” was officially released on Sept. 11 that could mean the final installment for Year 4 will be available sometime near Dec. 11.
Ubisoft releases ‘Rainbow Six Siege: Ember Rise’ latest patch notes
Before worrying too much about “Rainbow Six Siege” Year 4 Season 4, fans of the game should note that the latest patch for “Ember Rise” (version 3.1) has been released. Ubisoft immediately heeded gamers’ feedback on Goyo’s interaction with the Reverse Friendly Fire (RFF) system. To improve the game’s balancing, a hostage has been made immune to fire from Goyo’s Volcan Shield and Capitao’s tactical crossbow firing asphyxiating bolts.
