REPAY Stock Rises After Visa Platform Connect Collaboration

REPAY Stock Rises After Visa Platform Connect Collaboration.

Repay Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: RPAY) shares climbed 3.8% in after-hours trading Wednesday after the payment technology company announced a collaboration with Visa to resell Visa Platform Connect, expanding its processing capabilities for independent sales organizations (ISOs) and independent software vendors (ISVs).

The agreement will position REPAY as a clearing and settlement backend, giving its ISO and ISV clients direct access to VisaNet and Visa’s broader payment solutions ecosystem. The move also places REPAY among a select group of U.S.-based processors offering Visa Platform Connect to the independent sales channel.

Through the collaboration, ISOs and ISVs will be able to use enterprise-grade payment infrastructure to develop end-to-end processing solutions. ISOs with proprietary authorization technology can connect directly to Visa Platform Connect while relying on REPAY’s clearing and settlement capabilities through a consolidated platform.

The solution is designed to reduce dependence on legacy third-party processors, potentially lowering costs and simplifying payment operations. A single API connection supports both card-present and card-not-present transactions while providing access to services such as fraud management, tokenization and dispute resolution.

REPAY clients will also gain access to Visa’s real-time money movement technology. This includes push-to-card disbursements, allowing funds to reach eligible cards within minutes. According to the companies, connections to the platform can be completed in less than six weeks, helping ISOs and ISVs bring new payment products to market faster.

Visa Platform Connect additionally provides compliance support for EMV requirements and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), helping payment providers manage key security obligations.

Melissa Kirk, Senior Vice President of Clearing and Settlement at REPAY, said technology-focused ISOs and ISVs increasingly need modern infrastructure capable of supporting their sophisticated authorization systems and full payment processing operations.

REPAY provides integrated bill payment and payment processing solutions for industries with specialized transaction requirements through its proprietary technology platform. The Visa collaboration strengthens the company’s offering as demand grows for faster, more flexible and streamlined payment infrastructure.
