Mr. Firer currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Net Element, Inc. (NASDAQ:NETE), global financial technology and value-added solutions group that supports electronic payments acceptance in an omni-channel environment. Prior to Net Element, Mr. Firer served as the Executive Chairman of Unified Payments and has led the company from its inception until its acquisition by Net Element in April of 2013. Prior to Unified Payments, Mr. Firer held senior executive positions in private equity, payment processing, wireless communications and technology companies.
