‘Prison Break’ season 5’s episode 5, titled “Contingency,” will follow Lincoln as he desperately tries to understand Michael’s story. Meanwhile, Sara is set to struggle with some shocking news about her current husband as well as with the idea of Michael’s survival.
The synopsis for episode 5 posted on TV Guide reads, “Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) becomes frustrated as he tries to understand what really happened to Michael (Wentworth Miller).
Meanwhile, C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar) has a new escape plan, but fears it will not be executed quickly enough as Cyclops (Amin El Gamal) is trailing closely behind; at the same time, Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) struggles with the idea that Michael may be alive.”
The upcoming action-packed episode of the serial television drama is set to follow Lincoln as he grows increasingly frustrated over the events that occurred and what really happened to his brother, Michael.
In the promo, Lincoln angrily interrogates Michael. He yells, “What happened to you, Michael?” Michael only replies, “Everything I did, I did for family.”
The previous episode, titled "The Prisoner's Dilemma," featured pandemonium as Michael, Ramal, Ja (Rick Yune), and Whip (Augustus Prew) struggled to escape containment while Cross rallied the other prisoners to take Ramal. However, they were all captured by ISIL in the process.
Although Ramal planned to behead Michael, Lincoln successfully intervened and killed the jihadists while Whip killed Ramal. Michael and Lincoln finally reunited but were then told by Sid (Kunal Sharma) that ISIL has declared war in retaliation for Ramal’s death.
Meanwhile, Sara is set to discover disturbing news about her current husband, Jacob (Mark Feuerstein), while struggling with the idea of Michael’s survival. The promotional photographs for episode 5 posted on Heavy.com shows T-Bag (Robert Knepper) confronting Sara about Jacob. It seems that Sara is set to find out about Jacob’s connection to Poseidon.
‘Prison Break’ season 5’s episode 5, titled “Contingency,” is scheduled to air on Fox on May 2, 2017. It will be followed by episode 6, titled "Phaeacia," scheduled to be released on May 9.
