Excited for the June 27 finale of “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7? Before preparing yourself for the two-hour rollercoaster, showrunner I. Marlene King says you need to review the show’s last episodes first if you want to confirm your guess on A.D.’s identity.
King said to shed all assumptions about A.D.’s true identity and the clues lie in the show’s latest ten episodes. She added, "All of these last 10 episodes, we’ve dropped a lot of Easter eggs intentionally because we wanted fans to have a really good chance to figure this out. This A.D. is separate in terms of playing the game from those other As. The person who is A.D. asked me not to tell anyone because that person didn’t want to affect certain scenes in certain ways.”
The secrecy surrounding A.D.’s real identity was also kept even from the actors playing the main characters, too, like Ashley Benson. However, Brendan Robinson said he’d figured it out on his own. He disclosed, "When I found out who it was, I hadn’t read the script yet, because it was a couple weeks in advance and it didn’t make total sense to me at first. And then, when I saw the script and I read it and we all sat down – and the people that are involved in those scenes do a really, really phenomenal job – all the questions are answered and it made sense."
But if there’s one thing fans should look forward too, is another tender moment by Toby and Spencer, Just Jared said. In a video clip, Toby and Spencer is seen talking about unrequited love before getting interrupted by Spencer’s mom. Although there isn’t enough left to deduce whether they’ve opened up their feelings for each other, it’s enough for fans to ship #Spoby.
