“Power” season 6’s first half concluded in episode 10 titled “No One Can Stop Me,” and it ended with Ghost on the ground because he was shot in his own turf. The question is, who tried to kill him? Since everyone betrayed him, even Tasha and Tariq are in the list of likely suspects.
The sixth episode of “Power” season 6 started in betrayal, and the midseason also concluded with more betrayals, but this time, it is already on a different level since it is almost Ghost against everyone. It looks like, he does not have anyone he can trust anymore that even his own family turned their backs at him
Who is the shooter?
Currently, the additional suspects are Tommy, Dre, Paz, Saxe, and Tate. This is because all of them have a reason to do so. Their want to liquidate him was heightened when James “Ghost” St. Patrick, a former drug lord, was picked as Lorette Walsh’s potential lieutenant governor. He wants to change and leave his dark past behind, but the people around him just want to pull him down with them, so they are getting in the way of his success.
What will happen next when the show returns?
In her interview with TV Line, “Power” season 6 executive producer Courtney Kemp shared some hints about what to expect in “Power” season 6 episode 11. Firstly, although she did not directly say it - Ghost will live since no one saw him die after being shot. She also talked about how Paz is one of the suspects for the shooting.
“If your kid sister fell in love with somebody that you literally 45 times said, ‘Stay away from him. And you know why you should stay away from him? Because you’re gonna get dead,’ she explained to the publication. “And then she showed up dead? Would you feel some type of way about that? Potentially, you might be like, ‘I am not down with the fact that my sister is not here anymore.’”
Tasha’s fate
It was also said that Tasha might be killed by none other than Ghost himself. Express pointed out that Ghost never physically hurt Tasha before when they were still married, but now that she is even using their son Tariq to sell drugs, he did not hesitate to lay his hands on his ex-wife. Moreover, Tasha told detective Blanca Rodriguez that Ghost killed Terry Silver, and this betrayal will also push Ghost to possibly kill her for everything she did to him and their son.
“Power” season 6 episode 11 will return on Jan. 5, 2020, on Starz.
