DCD Mexico, held from September 26-27 in Centro Citibanamex, Mexico City, will emphasize topics related to energy efficiency, cloud, new technologies focused on Big Data and security. In recent years data centers have become more relevant in Mexico as strong drivers for the development of IT solutions and services needed to modernize the ICT infrastructure. As the second largest market in Latin America in terms of data center area (25% of the total), Mexico is a top investor in non-traditional IT services and Big Data and analytics critical to increasing Mexico’s competitiveness.
At the event, PDI executives will be available to discuss the Modular Compact RPP’s unique features including:
- 150+ possible configurations
- Small (12 x 24 inches) footprint
- Flexible wall–mount, multi-unit installations
- High voltage / controls compartments
- Branch Circuit Monitoring
- Trapped Key Interlocking and multiple panel boards configurations
Due to his in-depth knowledge regarding data centers, DatacenterDynamics selected Alejandro Cantu, PDI’s Director of Sales for Latin America and Spain, to judge this year's entries for the 2017 DCD LATAM Awards.
“Without data centers, virtually all information, entertainment and business services would stop -- they are the very lifeblood of our society,” Cantu said. “Given the magnitude of this importance, it is critical that data centers continue to efficiently evolve with the latest innovations to optimize data processing. PDI is proud to be on the forefront of data center power innovations and eager to share our insights with DatacenterDynamics’ attendees and humbled to be selected as an authority to judge this year’s LATAM awards.”
