Polish wage growth likely to have eased in November

Polish wage data is set to release tomorrow. According to an Erste Group Research report, wage growth is likely to have eased to 4.7 percent year-on-year in November. Consensus expectations are at 6 percent.

Meanwhile, employment growth is expected to have stayed strong at 2.7 percent year-on-year. Overall, normalization of trends on the labor market in recent months is observed, with stable employment growth and easing wage growth.

Retail sales data for the November is set to release later in the week. Sales are likely to have grown 5.4 percent and sustain recent dynamics.

“The extension of the fiscal package in 3Q19 did not provide a boost to retail sales growth”, added Erste Group Research.
