Park Shin Hye is an A-list actress in South Korea, and prior to reaching stardom she also started young and as a support cast member in many dramas. However, she is lucky for even as a young rookie actress, she was cast in good shows and this led her to the path of stardom.
The 29-year-old star debuted in the entertainment industry at the age of 13 and from there she had a steady flow of acting projects. Her very first role was as Choi Ji Woo's character Han Jung Suh’s younger self in 2003’s “Stairway to Heaven.”

Tree Of Heaven
Park Shin Hye starred in “Tree of Heaven” next and this was in 2006. This is her very first assignment as a lead actress and she did very well. With director Lee Jang Soo at the helm, the actress’ skills shined. Her role was a teenager who fell in love with her stepbrother, Yoon Seo who was played by Lee Wan.
Goong S
Goong is also known as “Princess Hours” and this is a spinoff of the highly successful drama that originally starred Yoon Eun Hye and Ju Ji Hoon. it was released in 2006 and the spinoff that stars Park Shin Hye came out in 2007. Though it failed to replicate the success of the original drama, it did well enough in the ratings.

This was Shin Hye’s most successful drama as the lead actress. She acted alongside popular idols at that time which includes FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki, CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and Jang Keun Suk. This made her name known in the Hallyu world as the idols she was with the stars who have already established their names overseas too.
