Park Shin Hye just completed her drama titled “Memories of Alhambra” and now she is working on another project. This time, it will be a movie and it is different from her previous works because this is a spine-chilling thriller film, a genre that she has not done in her entire career yet.
According to Soompi, Park Shin Hye has been signed up for “Call” as the lead actress. She will star in the movie alongside Jeon Jong Seo and “Heirs” co-star Kim Sung Ryung.
When asked why she chose to do the movie “Call,” Park Shin Hye said, “I chose this film because of my high expectations from our director. Also, the change in Seo Yeon’s emotions as she goes through chaotic situations that change every minute was appealing to me. I hope to show you different sides of me through my character.”
The thriller is about the story of two women who are from different time periods. One day, a mysterious phone call got them connected although they are living in different eras.
Park Shin Hye will give life to the character of Seo Yeon, a strong-willed woman who lives in the current time. On the other hand, Jeon Jong Seo is Young Sook, a woman from the past. The latter believes that she was able to get in contact with someone from the future because that is the only way that she can survive.
However, the phone call is not totally a good thing for Jeon Jong Seo because her life will get messier and more dangerous as she continues to make risky life’s choices that she was only forced to make by the calls.
Asian Wiki shared that Park Shin Hye and the rest of the cast began filming “Call” on Feb. 3. The rest of the cast members include Lee El (Young Sook's mother), Park Ho San (Seo Yeon's father), Oh Jung Se (Sung Ho) and Lee Dong Hwi (Baek Min-Hyun)
Meanwhile, the news about Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho’s reunion via “Heirs 2” is not yet confirmed. The producers have not even announced the return of the said drama that also stars Kim Woo Bin thus their team up are mere speculations for now.
