BOSTON, Jan. 17, 2018 -- Paratek Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:PRTK), a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of innovative therapies based upon its expertise in novel tetracycline chemistry, today announced that it has commenced a registered underwritten public offering of $50.0 million of its shares of common stock. In addition, Paratek has granted the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional $7.5 million of its shares of common stock. All of the shares to be sold in the offering are to be sold by Paratek.
BTIG, LLC is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering.
