Krafton has finally opened the pre-registration for “PUBG: New State” on iOS. However, the App Store may have also revealed one crucial piece of information that suggests the game is launching sooner than expected.
‘PUBG: New State’ release date
To those who do not know yet, Krafton is developing its own version of “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” for mobile platforms, and the result is going to be “PUBG: New State.” It is significantly different from the widely popular “PUBG Mobile” mainly because the game is directly developed and to be published by Krafton.
Fans have known for a while now that “PUBG: New State” is slated to launch sometime this year. But the recently opened iOS pre-registration appears to have narrowed down the timeline.
iOS players can now pre-order the game through the App Store, and it will be compatible with iPhone and iPad devices running with iOS 13.0 or later. However, Twitter page pubg_newsteller noticed that the “PUBG: New State” App Store page also indicates that the game is “expected” to arrive on Oct. 8.

Krafton has yet to announce an official release date for “PUBG: New State.” But Oct. 8 seems like a plausible launch for the game, considering that Krafton is already gearing up for its second alpha test that will launch next weekend.
‘PUBG: New State’ second alpha test: How to register
The second alpha test for “PUBG: New State” is already set. While its availability is still limited, Krafton said it aims to include more players and bring the game to other regions where the first alpha test was not available.
Fans have until Monday, Aug. 23 (12:59 UTC +0) to register through this link. The second alpha test will be available for players in the Philippines, Bahrain, Cambodia, Egypt, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Laos, Lebanon, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
Like most beta registrations, applying to participate in the “PUBG: New State” alpha test does not guarantee that players will be selected. Fans are advised to ensure they input the correct email address while applying and to keep a lookout for an invitation email once they have completed the process. The second alpha test is slated to run on Friday, Aug. 27 to Sunday, Aug. 29, while game preload starts on Thursday, Aug. 26.
