The “PlayStation 4 Neo” is the more powerful version of Sony’s latest console, and a lot of people are looking forward to getting their hands on the performance-hefty machine. Thanks to a leak by Amazon, it would seem that fans don’t have to wait that long to get their own “Neo,” and if rumors prove true, they could get it at a really low price. On a related note, there are also rumors that “Dead Rising” could be coming to the “PS4” as well.
According to Tech Times, it seems Amazon accidentally leaked the release date of the “PS4 Neo” by listing the details on their website. The details were then taken down, but the damage was done.
The leaked details indicate that the “Neo” would be hitting the market on Oct. 13. That’s just two months away, and much sooner than many speculated. The price for each unit was also listed at €399.99, which is about $440 based on the current exchange rate. That’s a much lower price compared to what the improved specs made people think, especially since the original “PS4” costs about the same.
As indicated by Tech Times, it seems that the posting of the listing was a complete accident since Amazon promptly took down the details. Other details pertaining to the sale weren’t posted, however, so that puts the whole “accidentally posted” premise into question.
In related news, it seems “Dead Rising” is finally coming to the “PS4,” if the rumors prove true. This was based on details posted by Exophase, which included trophies related to the game. As gamers might remember, the first installment to the zombie-mowing franchise was exclusive to the “Xbox 360.” “Dead Rising” is also a timed exclusive for the “Xbox One” and the PC.
For fans of the zombie genre but only have a “PS4,” this could only be good news. Then again, this entirely depends on whether or not the rumors come through.
