Fans are still waiting for the official announcement of “Overlord” season 4. To help pass the time, anime-only fans might want to check how Ainz Ooal Gown will be doing at the beginning of a new season.
The third season covered the events from the light novel’s ninth volume or the founding of the Sorcerer Kingdom through seizing power of the E-Rantel city. So it is safe to assume that “Overlord” season 4 will begin with volume 10 where Ainz will face a new challenge.
Expect Ainz to handle some issues such as the declining supply of resources after learning that merchants are refusing to enter his domain at the beginning of “Overlord” season 4. There is no question about Ainz’s power, however, he will admit at this point that implementing laws and policies are not his strength.
Yuri and Albedo will be with Ainz when discussing the issues of declining supplies. They will all agree soon that they should start by putting up an orphanage for the children and widows. “Overlord” season 4 will most likely start with laid-back scenes where other characters are also meeting with Ainz to report on the progress of their tasks such as the building of a forest resource depot by Aura and Mare.
It is also possible that the early parts of “Overlord” season 4 will cover Ainz’s meeting with Pandora’s Actor. It can be recalled that the latter acted as Momon and was left to be in charge of E-Rantel. This is where Ainz’s special treatment of the Pandora’s Actor will likely be manifested but Ainz prefers it to be a secret at this point. Pandora’s Actor will ask Ainz about his future plans for the Sorcerer Kingdom. However, Ainz has not exactly thought about that yet.
The official release date window for “Overlord” season 4 or if the anime series is going to be renewed for a new installment. But there are speculations that the earliest possible time for the anime’s return is in 2020.
