The premiere of “Outlander” season 4 is right around the corner and fans now have a clue what will happen to the time-traveling lovers in the first episode. Another piece of good news this week revealed that a new option is available to catch the latest episodes arriving next month.
Super lucky fans who attended the New York Comic-Con earlier this month got the chance to see the “Outlander” season 4 opener a month before everybody else could. And several reports confirmed that the first episode lived up to all the hype.
It has been confirmed that the “Outlander” season 4 premiere picks up a few months after the thrilling season 3 finale. According to TV Guide, the new installment begins with Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) finding themselves washed ashore in Georgia.
This marks the Frasers embarking on a whole new journey outside of Scotland and, at least, they get to experience it together. The “Outlander” season 4 premiere is also fittingly titled “America the Beautiful” as it is expected to show Jamie and Claire decide on staying in the States.
The same TV Guide report hints that Jamie and Claire’s decision to stay is temporary at first and they initially want to go back to Scotland. But the trailers and other teasers confirm that Jamie and Claire will eventually choose to stay and live their own American dream for the rest of “Outlander” season 4.
Episode 1 will also deliver the first steamy love scene of Jamie and Claire in “Outlander” season 4. But contrasting all these seemingly happy scenes is their interaction with this season’s main villain, Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speleers). Meanwhile, other main characters Aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy), Brianna (Sophie Skelton), and Rodger (Richard Rankin) are reportedly not included in the first episode.
With barely two weeks left before the premiere, it was announced that people without a cable TV access to Starz now have an option to watch upcoming episodes as they air. But it will cost viewers a monthly fee of $8.99. Avid fans with a Hulu subscription plan can now pay the said fee and have Starz as an add-on channel. “Outlander” season 4 arrives on Sunday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. ET.
