HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Sept. 15, 2017 -- Orbit International Corp. (OTC PINK:ORBT), an electronics manufacturer and software solution provider, today announced that it has repurchased 348,541 shares of its common stock in both public and private transactions, at an average price of $4.29 per share, since July 1, 2017. Since January 1, 2017, the Company has repurchased 562,473 of its shares, at an average price of $4.16 per share, representing 13.4% of the outstanding shares.

We remain committed to enhance shareholder value and are confident in our business outlook with an administration in Washington committed to increase defense spending. Consequently, we will continue to use our operating cash flow for opportunistic repurchases of our common stock subject to existing board and bank approvals.”
Orbit International Corp., through its Electronics Group, is involved in the manufacture of customized electronic components and subsystems for military and nonmilitary government applications through its production facility in Hauppauge, New York. Orbit’s Power Group, also located in Hauppauge, NY, designs and manufactures a wide array of power products including AC power supplies, frequency converters, inverters, uninterruptible power supplies, VME/VPX power supplies as well as various COTS power sources.
