With how the hit TV series ‘Orange is the New Black’ is being greatly received by many, it is with no doubt that fans are raving for answers and clues as to when is the return of the show which will be on its fourth season. And we have that answer here.
Fans may have to do a little bit of waiting as the show is slated to return to the airwaves this June. So patience is truly needed on this one. But, to compensate for all the waiting that every fan has to do, here are some spoilers and teasers to give you a clue on what will come our way when the show returns.
According to E! Online, the fourth season is set to be at the same level of unpredictability as that of the previous seasons in order to leave the fans back on fire as to guess whether Alex and Piper will ultimately have a happy ending.
On the third season’s ending, it was still unclear if Alex was dead or alive. The last time we saw her, she was fighting for her own life after revealing the name of her former drug boss. But the latest spoilers from US Weekly hinted that she is very much alive, for our relief.
In a recent interview, actress Laura Prepon, who plays the role of Alex Vause, hinted that there will be more uncertainties regarding her relationship with Piper Champan (Taylor Schilling).
She said that, "The Alex and Piper relationship is so awesome. It's so tumultuous... They love each other a lot. It's this crazy relationship, there's never a dull moment. I don't know if two people like that could ever ride off into the sunset, but we'll see what happens in season four. There's no shortage of stories to tell."
The next season will delve in more on the inmates and their backgrounds. Based on the sneak peek, it seems like the place is an asylum full of disturbed people. The clip showed snippets of different women smirking, glancing, staring, and even thinking of some things before someone said, "It's just like the Hamptons, only horrible." At the end of the teaser, it showed an orange uniform being handed over a window sill, with someone saying, "Welcome to Litchfield, inmate."
