OnePlus 7T is one of the most anticipated premium smartphones arriving in the last quarter of the year. Good news arrives for tech fans in key cities because they have a chance to buy the device earlier than the rest of the world and get a free audio accessory.
OnePlus 7T retail release date: When and where to get the device early
It is fairly easy to buy OnePlus 7T. However, most tech fans will have to wait until Friday, Oct. 18, before they can place their orders. A few hundreds of people will be luckier, though, as OnePlus announced they would be opening a few pop-up shops around the world.
The pop-up shops will not be many, though. The apparent plan is to have just one location in the two countries where OnePlus 7T will be released a week early. In the United States, the store will be located at the House of Showfields in New York and will be open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. (local time) on Friday, Oct. 11.
Another pop-up shop will open in London in Carousel at 9-11 Short’s Garden. This is also going to be the only place where customers in the United Kingdom can buy OnePlus 7T a week earlier than the rest of the world. The event happens on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. BST.
OnePlus 7T price: Early buyers are getting free headphones
There will be no price discounts on these special events, but customers buying the OnePlus 7T very early are getting a free pair of headphones. In a post on the official OnePlus forum, the first 100 people in line will get the Bullet Wireless 2 headphones, and the next 400 buyers will each be given a pair of Bullet Type-C earphones that retail for $99 and $24.95, respectively.
OnePlus 7T, unlike its predecessors, has 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage as the only configuration. The device is priced at $599. The pricing of the upcoming device is one of its interesting aspects. It is cheaper than the OnePlus 7 Pro, but it boasts several upgraded specs and features.
