The previous episode of “One Punch Man” was meant to introduce the new monster arc in which the heroes will have to work extra hard in order to deal with the encroachment of powerful beasts. The truth behind the development has yet to be revealed, but this is not the most interesting thing set to happen. In “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 6, someone might just force Saitama to be serious.
A lot of the things wrong with this new season of the show was present in the previous episode. It rushed a lot of things and while the animation was not as much of an issue, it simply did not hit the right notes. This is why it did not resonate with fans of the show as it should have, with OtakuKart being a good example. The animators have a chance to change that with “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 6.
Basically, “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 6 is where the martial arts tournament begins in earnest in that it will feature the more interesting fighters. Among them is someone with enough strength to overpower everyone else. Saitama might face off with this person in the upcoming episode and get forced to be a teensy bit serious.
Now, as any fan of the series would already know, not even the conqueror of entire worlds could make the bald hero completely serious. So even getting him to look at an enemy with a more discerning eye is an accomplishment. This might just be what the character called Suiryu will be able to accomplish in “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 6 and beyond.
As for when “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 6 will be coming out, May 14 is the date to watch out for. Time will tell if it will be another disappointment or a hit.
