With the relative silence of VM Media regarding the anime side of the franchise, the upcoming festival is the best upcoming source for any news about “One Punch Man” season 2. Aside from the festival, concrete news about the show's second season has been as far back as the past March, which confirmed that the series was in production and the news that Garou, former disciple of Bang, will be voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa, confirming the significant return of the potential villain.
