“One Piece” episode 905 picks up from the opening of Luffy, Zoro, and Kiku’s confrontation with Holdem of the Beasts Pirates who has been holding Tama hostage. However, there are more important events happening very soon, including the much-awaited reunion of Luffy and Law.
'One Piece' episode 905 spoilers: Holdem vs. Luffy
Luffy and Zoro have been repeatedly warned not to catch any attention, but it is too late for that now. After showing his power at the sumo wrestling against Urashima, the captain of the Straw Hats is now facing one of the Beasts Pirates headliners named Holdem to save Tama in “One Piece” episode 905.
Anime fans can expect an exciting fight in “One Piece” episode 905. Zoro and Luffy initially plan to avoid any fight and just save Tama through a “steal and run” strategy. However, Luffy is enraged after he learns that Holdem had been using pliers on Tama’s cheeks to extract a kibidango. This is when Luffy decides to improvise and attack Holdem.
Holdem’s lion can spit fire like a dragon, but Luffy will still be able to take him out in one punch. Meanwhile, another Beasts headliner named Speed, who is also a centaur, is watching at a near distance. Likely by the end of “One Piece” episode 905, Luffy spots Speed while escaping after hitting Holdem and rides her literally. What happens next might be covered in the following episode, but expect Tama to use her devil fruit on Speed.
'One Piece' episode 905 plot: Law vs. Hawkins; Other possible episode highlights
Anime-only fans should also pay attention to other important events happening on the side in “One Piece” episode 905. One of them is Law’s confrontation with Hawkins. The latter was supposed to support Holdem, but upon entering Bakura, Law will appear to stop him. This also signals that the reunion of Law and Luffy is happening soon.
Before Luffy and Holdem’s fight in “One Piece” episode 905, the Straw Hats will learn from Kiku that Holdem’s boss is Jack the Drought. This is an important revelation because they have always thought that Jack already died.
Holdem will also mistakenly think that Luffy, Zoro, and Kiku are subordinates of a character named Shutenmaru. Anime-only fans are advised to remember this name because he plays a big role later on in the Wano arc. “One Piece” episode 905 will be released on Oct. 6.
