‘One Piece’ chapter 980: Kaido’s big plans for Yamato

With the raid on Onigashima in full swing, the action is expected to heat up in “One Piece” chapter 980. While the Akazaya samurai and the allies were able to infiltrate without being noticed, Luffy could ruin the element of surprise if he doesn’t handle correctly the situation he is currently in.

Luffy confronts Beast Pirates

In the recent “One Piece” manga chapter, which can be read on Mangaplus, Luffy was looking for Eustass Kid. However, he was irked when he saw two Beast Pirates laughing as they planned on wasting the sweet red bean soup as it does go well with their drinks.

“Toss it in front of Okobore town,” one of them said. “They’ll happily suck the dirt dry.”

The remarked triggered Luffy’s memory as he remembered Tama and the hardships of the Okobore residents. The chapter ended with Luffy angrily staring that the two.

If Luffy goes on a rampage in “One Piece” 980, it could cause some problems for the alliance as a whole. Drawing attention to himself prematurely might expose the rest before they could properly position themselves according to their plans.

It’s also possible that Luffy might be able to endure and control his anger for a moment. The best course of action for him would be to deal with the two enemies when no one is looking.

Kaido’s plans for Yamato

Fans have been expecting to get a glimpse of Kaido’s son, Yamato, in the past couple of chapters. However, the character proved elusive since the revelation of his existence.

But it looks like Yamato could be finally making his appearance in “One Piece” chapter 980. In fact, the main reason Kaido ordered the Flying Six to gather is that they were given the task of finding Yamato who disappeared earlier.

Apparently, Kaido will be making a very important announcement that will involve Yamato. While the actual announcement won’t likely happen in “One Piece” chapter 980 yet, some clues might already be revealed in the upcoming installment.

There are even “One Piece” 980 speculations saying that Yamato might cross paths with Luffy during the raid. The former might even lend a helping hand to the enemies of his father, which is not that hard to imagine as it appears he is not a big fan of Kaido.
