The newly formed alliance of Kaido and Big Mom certainly shifted the balance of powers in the Wano Country arc only making the upcoming chapters even more exciting. Luckily, “One Piece” chapter 955 is confirmed to arrive a few days earlier than expected.
‘One Piece’ chapter 955 release date: New installment arrives a day earlier than anticipated
A one-week hiatus was confirmed following the release of chapter 954. It is then expected that “One Piece” chapter 955 will be out this coming Sunday. However, several official sources confirmed that the next chapter will be released at an earlier schedule.
Viz shows that the next chapter will be released on Friday, Sept. 13 for fans in Japan. Effectively, “One Piece” chapter 955 will be available to fans outside Japan through other platforms such as Manga Plus on early Saturday, Sept. 14. In that case, raw scans could be leaked anytime this week, too.
‘One Piece’ chapter 955 predictions: Marines arrive in Wano
The alliance of Big Mom and Kaido opens so many possibilities in the upcoming chapters. Chapter 954 features the preparations for the Fire Festival or the night when Luffy and his allies plan to attack Onigashima where Kaido resides. As the festival draws near, more characters linked to Kaido have appeared, and it would not be surprising if more familiar faces appear in “One Piece” chapter 955.
Kaido and Big Mom’s alliance should also attract the attention of other characters may it be a friend or a foe to the Yonkos. One of the interesting plot predictions for “One Piece” chapter 955 is the supposed arrival of Marines in Wano. Since Kaido and Big Mom control some of the most notorious pirate crews, their alliance is something that the World Government is unlikely to ignore.
The Marines are not friendly toward Luffy’s crew and allies as well. However, there are speculations that they might set aside their differences in “One Piece” chapter 955 since Kaido and Big Mom’s alliance poses a much bigger threat to them.
Meanwhile, there is also a possibility that the Marines will not forge an alliance with Luffy or other pirate crews against Kaido and Big Mom. Either way, the battle in Onigashima and war in Wano is certainly going to be one of the most chaotic events in the entire series. How that will unfold will likely get a preview in “One Piece” chapter 955.
