Details about “One Piece” chapter 943 are out and fans will be delighted with the fact the Zoro and Sanji are finally fighting side by side again. Aside from the action-packed scenes that will come through this team-up, it is important to note that it has been over five years since these characters fought alongside one another.
Few days before the official release of “One Piece” chapter 943 raw scans and detailed summary (via Oro Jackson) of the next installment is already circulating online. The manga will pick up from a very emotional chapter focused on the execution of Yasu. But Orochi’s plan is likely to backfire as the death of a hero, even in real life, often leads to a bigger revolution.
It was revealed in the latest chapters that Yasu is also Toko’s father. So when she learned that Orochi has captured him and is set to be publicly executed, Toko rushed to the Flower Capital wanting to save Yasu. Now that her father dies, Toko wants to get to him closer even more. But, according to “One Piece” chapter 943 spoilers, Orochi aims his rifle at the young girl.
Luckily, Zoro and Sanji are around to save her. This then calls for them to fight again together and take an early crack at defeating Orochi. The only downside to this is it is happening at the very last panel of “One Piece” chapter 943. That means the actual action will begin in chapter 935.
Nevertheless, this is great for many fans who have been asking to see Zoro and Sanji in action together. Redditor u/adnaphsaka pointed out that the last this happened in the manga was in chapter 722 that came out on Sept. 30, 2013. So their upcoming team-up in “One Piece” chapter 943 is practically over five years in the making.
Meanwhile, fans can also expect some flashbacks as the remaining characters honor the memory of Yasu. The people from Ebisu Town continues to uproariously laugh with tears — the only way they could express sorrow and rage after being tricked into eating SMILE. “One Piece” chapter 943 is expected to be released on May 27.
