“One Piece” Chapter 929 is not expected to come out this year as Eiichiro Oda is taking a Christmas break. As such, the next chapter is speculated to come out on Jan. 7 with leaks possibly making its way on the web around on Jan. 4.
However, this should be taken lightly given that the previous chapter was expected to come out on Jan. 4, which proved off the mark. Chapter 928 has already been released and it highlighted a few key scenarios. One of which is the appearance of Raizo inside Luffy’s prison. The Wano Country ninja managed to infiltrate the heavily guarded prison and informed the straw hat-wearing captain that he has found the key for his Seastone cuff. There’s a possibility that Raizo will break Luffy out of his incarceration in “One Piece” Chapter 929.
The problem is that the key is stored in a Seastone box itself and is well guarded by Kaido’s subordinates, so it’s going to be tricky for Raizo to covertly acquire it. Another interesting take that was depicted in the previous release is the attitude of Komurasaki, the highest ranking courtesan in all of Wano Country. Oda portrayed the courtesan as a manipulative individual who’s been swindling people out their wealth. However, it would seem that there’s something hidden beneath her actions and fans can’t wait to see what’s the real motivation of Komurasaki in “One Piece” Chapter 929.
There’s also the fact that Oda is heavily hinting that Komurasaki is not what she seems. This is implied on the conversation between Tama and Momonosuke. During their exchange, Momo said that he believes his sister Hiyori is still alive somewhere. If this holds true, then there’s a huge possibility that Komurasaki and Hiyori is one and the same. It would certainly fit the narrative and would also provide a small plot twist to boost. Between all the secrets and Luffy breaking out of prison, “One Piece” Chapter 929 is looking to be an engaging chapter to look out for.
