There are quite a few things that are under development in the second part of the Wano arc right now, with Luffy’s imprisonment and his impending rescue being one of the most important plot points. However, could the planned prison break have been ruined by Sanji’s actions that led to assassins being sent after him? “One Piece” Chapter 928 will be able to answer this, but it’s still a long way off.
The previous chapter of the manga showed how Sanji beat down a few hoodlums after they tried to shake him down for protection money. As a result, assassins will be sent after him in “One Piece” Chapter 928, and they will be courtesy of the queen. Whether or not these would-be killers can actually match Sanji is immaterial, at this point, since he will likely just beat them down. The more important point of concern is whether or not this development has put Luffy at risk.
Rescuing the Straw Hat captain is a delicate task, especially given that he was captured by Kaido himself. None of the samurais or the pirates can hope to match the yonko right now, so they’ll need to be sneaky in order to get Luffy out of prison. This is where the disruption that Sanji might have inadvertently caused in “One Piece” Chapter 928 might become an issue.
Then again, it could actually prove to be a blessing in disguise for the rescuers. If the assassins make enough of a ruckus in Sanji’s direction, it could draw attention away from Zoro and the rest. This would help in entering the prison grounds much easier. Of course, none of this is guaranteed to happen in “One Piece” Chapter 928.
As to when the chapter is scheduled to come out, it would be on Dec. 22. “One Piece” Chapter 928 should be an interesting installment regardless of what happens.
