The alliance led by Kin’emon, Luffy, and Law will have to improvise in “One Piece” chapter 922 as the drunk Kaido in his dragon form attacks their headquarters. Meanwhile, the much-awaited battle of Luffy and Kaido will finally begin.
There are still a few days left before the official copy of “One Piece” chapter 922 is out. But raw scans are now circulating online. Thanks to a translation by Zoro4Prez2016 of Oro Jackson (via Reddit u/heat_fan_), fans now have an idea what is going to happen in this week’s manga installment.
“One Piece” chapter 922 begins with the protagonists realizing that Kaido is present in his dragon form over Okobore. As usual, it seems like Law is the only one able to maintain his composure. Momonosuke will easily get stressed and, of course, Luffy rushes to fight Kaido as he worries for the people in Okobore town.
Shutenmaru is clueless at first about who Kaido is in “One Piece” chapter 922. But the latter reminds the newly introduced samurai about their previous encounter and Shutenmaru will recall fighting with a dragon. Kaido then tells him if that he wants to be forgiven and live, he should agree to become his subordinate.
However, Hawkins will distract Kaido by telling him that a “suspicious light” is emanating from where Oden Castle is. This is Kaido’s signal to leave for Oden Castle to destroy what he thinks is an empty place. Unfortunately, Nami and the others will not have enough time to evacuate in “One Piece” chapter 922. Kaido will arrive and immediately bring down what remains in Oden Castle with a single strike.
As soon as Kaido attacks Oden Castle, Luffy catches up with him. The "One Piece" chapter 922 translation reads, “The silhouette of a person appears right above Kaido.” This person is no less than Luffy, who will then scream, “Gomu Gomu no Elephant Gun!"
Luffy will be even more agitated in “One Piece” chapter 922 after seeing Kaido hurt his friends. Between Luffy and Kaido, the Straw Hats leader strikes the first attack.
“One Piece” chapter 922 is titled “Hundred Beasts Pirates Governor-General Kaido” — an obvious reference to the character in focus this week. The official copy of the chapter is expected to be released on Oct. 29.
