With the Wano arc of the manga series gathering steam, “One Piece Chapter” 920 is about to drop a bombshell of a revelation to fans of the property. As previously speculated, it would appear that Kinemon and his companions really were sent to the future via a Devil Fruit power. The identity of the holder of this power will be revealed, but will Orochi also finally make an appearance?
Raw scans of “One Piece Chapter” 920 were posted by Game N Guides, providing some context as to what the Japanese characters were meant to convey. Basically, the holder of the power of the Devil Fruit that could send people through time is the wife of Oden, Kozuki Toki. With the help of the Toki Toki no mi, she was able to travel to the future from even further back in the past and marry Oden.
When the castle was attacked and Oden was killed, “One Piece Chapter” 920 reveals that Toki sent Kinemon and Momonosuke to the future as the structure was burning all around them. This was a last-ditch effort to give Wano a fighting chance against Kaidou and Orochi, who eventually led the country to ruin and the people to starvation.
As OtakuKart also points out, “One Piece Chapter” 920 would be a good time to introduce Orochi to the readers. So far, the current ruler of Wano has not shown his face, but the Straw Hats’ appearance should give him enough of a reason to make his move.
“One Piece Chapter” 920 will be released on Oct. 6. Fans should be aware that there is going to be another break by the author after this chapter is released, which last one week. This means that the next chapter of the manga series will be available on the third week of October. This is going to be a long wait.
