Luffy and Zoro's adventures in Bakura continue in “One Piece” chapter 916. But given how things were left in chapter 915, will the Straw Hat pirates go on their own paths to save Tama and Kiku, respectively?
It can be recalled that the kidnapping of Tama was what originally brought Luffy, Zoro, and Kiku to Bakura. The young girl was kidnapped by Beasts gifters Gazelleman and Batman and was later presented to headliner Holdem. It is very likely that “One Piece” chapter 916 will continue to tell the story of why the Beasts want to capture Tama and control her Devil Fruit power.
Chapter 915 hinted that Tama has her own power. She deliberately hides it after her kind master Tengu's advice for fear that the bad guys will see it and control her. Unfortunately, Kaido's men suspected Tama of having the still-unknown power and now Holdem forces her to demonstrate it. If Luffy will not find Tama fast enough, the girl could be forced to unleash her power in front of Holdem in “One Piece” chapter 916.
As soon as they arrived in Bakura, Luffy immediately went into a search-and-rescue mode. Luffy could soon find his way to the headquarters of the Beasts and find Holdem intimidating Tama in “One Piece” chapter 916. If this happens, Luffy is not one to wait before starting a battle with Kaido’s headliner.
Meanwhile, Zoro seemed to be highly fascinated with the ongoing sumo match dominated by Urashima, who is regarded as the Yokozuna of the Flower Capital. Zoro immediately learned that Urashima is obsessed with Kiku.
When Urashima’s men rushed to kidnap Kiku, Zoro mysteriously did not make any attempt to stop them. This led to the theory that Zoro is confident about defeating Urashima and he just wants a reason to fight the high-ranking sumo wrestler in “One Piece” chapter 916 and later save Kiku.
However, it is also interesting how Kiku will handle her situation. She is a skilled sword fighter on her own. But she seemed to be intimidated by Urashima. In fact, she even tried to hide behind Zoro after Urashima saw her from a distance. But there is still a chance that Kiku will not need Zoro’s help in “One Piece” chapter 916.
Fans should also not forget that Trafalgar Law and the other Heart Pirates are on their way to meet Luffy, which makes the possibility of a brewing fight more exciting. “One Piece” chapter 916 will be officially released on Sept. 3.
