The release of “One Piece” chapter 914 will be delayed by one week. However, the wait could be very much worth it since there are speculations that the pirates of the Heart and Straw Hat groups will be reunited. And this could lead to an allied attack against Kaido.
The Heart Pirates and Straw Hats Crew Reunion
Once again, the last page of the previous manga chapter is one of the most important pages. On it, Penguin, Shachi, and Bepo — all members of the Heart pirates — are shown looking at the Straw Hats through binoculars. Obviously, this means that both groups are going to be reunited in Wano once “One Piece” chapter 914 arrives.
Avid “One Piece” fans may recall the Heart pirates from earlier chapters. They are led by Trafalgar Law and have established a strong alliance with Luffy’s Straw Hats crew. The obvious goal in the Wano arc is freeing the people from Kaido’s oppressive rule. And Luffy’s plan to defeat Kaido might finally take shape in “One Piece” chapter 914 with the arrival of Law.
Kaido is one powerful enemy. And his trusted ally, Basil Hawkins, also manifested his powerful Devil Fruit in chapter 913. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats will obviously need help if they really want to defeat Kaido.
Though the lines in chapter 913 read that the Heart pirates saw the Straw Hats, it is likely that they will first find Luffy and Zoro in “One Piece” chapter 914. Then, the mission to find Sanji, Nami, Brook, and Chopper might also begin. Once both pirate crews are completely together, fans might finally see the plan to overthrow Kaido unfold.
Tama Is Healed
Another highlight sequence expected in “One Piece” chapter 914 is seeing Tama finally healed. It can be recalled that Luffy was initially hoping to find a doctor who can cure Tama, who has been poisoned by the river water.
Luckily, the woman whom Zoro saved, named Tsuru, knows a brew of tea that can heal Tama. And for the first time in the Wano arc, fans will get to see Tama in a healthy condition in “One Piece” chapter 914.
“One Piece” Chapter 914: On Hiatus This Week
Fans who have read the latest chapter released likely noticed that one tiny note from the publisher that says, “Weekly Shonen Jump will be on break next week.” This means that no new manga issue is coming out next Monday. Fans will have to wait until Aug. 20 for the official release of “One Piece” chapter 914.
