Raw scans for “One Piece” 924 have been unleashed on the web and there are quite a few telling details accompanying the images. Unofficial translations of the pages seem to indicate that Kaido wants to keep Luffy alive in order make him into a weapon. In the meantime, it would seem that the other Straw Hat pirates are safe, but Law got hit with a nail made of Seastone.
Translation for the “One Piece” 924 are posted over at Reddit where some of the dialogue and description of scenes are available. Naturally, since this is intended for a manga, which is a visual medium, the experience will not be the same for the readers. For those who simply want to know what will happen in the chapter in advance, however, the translation serves its purpose.
Based on what the translation says will happen, it would appear that after being beaten into a pulp, Luffy will still glare at Kaido with menace. This activates his Haoshoku Haki, which basically renders the yonko’s subordinates unconscious in “One Piece” 924. Unfortunately for the Straw Hats captain, he still ends up being thrown in prison with the added bonus of Kaido now wanting to make him into a weapon.
"If we can break his spirits, then he can become a fine military power for us,” Kaido’s dialogue reads via the translation.
Aside from Luffy’s unfortunate circumstances, other events also occur in “One Piece” 924 that might interest fans. To start with, it would appear that Shutenmaru is meant to be an ally of the Samurai and Straw Alliance, Inquistr reports. This is confirmed by Kinemon who sees the warrior while checking in on his wife, Tsuru.
A special paper is also distributed in “One Piece” 924, which will be read by Usopp, Franky, and Nico Robin with shocked faces. Readers can find out what the paper says when the chapter is released on Nov. 12.
