A latest report from Nokia Power User brought to light new images and specifications of the Nokia C1 smartphone. The Finland mobile maker has been away from the public eye for quite some time now, but CEO Rajeev Suri has confirmed that it is not a withdrawal, and the company will be back to smartphones in the last quarter of 2016 when the agreement with Microsoft expires, GSM Arena reported.
An anonymous source told Nokia Power User, the Nokia C1 will arrive in two variants – Android and Windows 10 (in selected markets). Other leaked specifications suggest:
- The handset will also come in two different Full HD screen sizes – 5 inches and 5.5 inches.
- Memory options of 32 GB, 2 GB RAM or 64 GB, 3GB RAM will be available.
- Speaking of camera, the 32GB variant will support 8 MP (rear camera) and 5 MP (front camera), while 64GB will feature 13 MP (rear camera) and 5 MP (front camera).
The tipster also added that the handset has been in the works for quite long, and apparently the original prototype was cancelled and replaced with one with better hardware.
NPU however says that it cannot verify the authenticity of the specifications as well as the images.
