A recent rumor has been circulating in the gossip mill that Nicole Kidman got into a backstage brawl with “Big Little Lies” co-star Reese Witherspoon during a Keith Urban concert in Nashville, Tennessee last Aug. 24.
According to certain gossip publications, Reese Witherspoon received a negative mobile message regarding Nicole Kidman which the latter was able to read. This supposedly negative mobile message allegedly sparked a fight between Kidman and Witherspoon backstage. The gossip publications did not state the exact contents of the supposed mobile message and did not state a verifiable public source for the information.
Reese Witherspoon's own Instagram posts after the concert debunk the claim that Kidman and Witherspoon got into a fight. The “Legally Blonde” actress posted a picture of herself with Nicole Kidman and Kidman's husband, country musician Keith Urban.
It seems that Reese Witherspoon was simply supporting her co-star's husband in the Tennessee leg of his Graffiti U World Tour. The rumor of the backstage concert spat was preceded by another rumor discredited by Gossip Cop that claimed Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon fought over Kidman acquiring the movie and television rights for Liane Moriarty's new book, “Nine Perfect Strangers.”
Fans have no reason to doubt that the cast and crew of “Big Little Lies” are supportive of each other. Nicole Kidman is also known for being vocal with praises for her “Big Little Lies” co-workers on Instagram.
Keith Urban's Graffiti U World Tour started last June 15 and is set to end sometime in early 2019. Nicole Kidman has been supporting her husband during his performances by being present at some of his concert dates. Kidman was even invited by Keith Urban to greet the audience from backstage during his performance in Chicago, Illinois last August. Kidman and Urban are particularly supportive of each other even in the face of rumors that Keith Urban cheated on Kidman.
