Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wilds already has a lot of things going for it without looking into extra content like those offered by Amiibos. However, thanks to the secrets still embedded in the game’s code, there are still plenty of hidden features that most players have yet to access. One of these is the fabled Fierce Deity Armor set that can only be accessed via hacking or by getting the right Amiibo.
As The Verge notes, there are certain codes buried in BOTW that allows hackers to use locked features that include a set of armor with insane stats. Before today, it was only obtainable via hacking methods, which will not be revealed here. Thanks to the announcement by Nintendo of upcoming Amiibos, a way to get this armor set legally is coming soon.

Three Amiibos will be available on June 23rd, which feature Link figures from previous Zelda games namely; Majora's Mask Link, Twilight Princess Link, and Skyward Sword Link. The Majora’s Mask Amiibo is particularly interesting because of its connection to the Fierce Deity Armor set. The game “Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask” featured a secret transformation that gave Link significant stat boosts.
In BOTW, the armor set comes with some truly unique exterior aspects, including Link’s hauntingly white eyes and the beautiful cerulean design. It also comes with some awesome attack boosts, which makes it desirable to those who might want to kick a lot more monster butt.
It is a little odd that Nintendo waiting months before releasing the Amiibos and the corresponding codes to unlock the armor, which prompted hackers to use more nefarious means to get their grubby paws on the content. Whether it is a marketing scheme to really boost the appeal of the products or a question of manufacturing delays, it remains a mystery.
