The first month of “NBA 2K20” in the market has been filled with unflattering feedback from disgruntled gamers. Many players who purchased the latest iteration of the NBA video game simulation have been distracted by the bugs that they undermine the gameplay upgrades and new features. To be fair with Visual Concepts and 2K Games, the companies are trying to make amends, and the release of patches has since been a weekly occasion.

‘NBA 2K20’ gameplay update: The latest patches now available

Earlier this week, developers greeted “NBA 2K20” with the news of the latest patches for the game. The patch notes are not that long; in fact, it only had two items in it. But it now appears that the developers are approaching the numerous bugs little by little until the entire game reaches the right condition.

The “Patch 4 Notes” included fixes for several “NBA 2K20” game modes. Players have reported an annoying bug that causes the game to disconnect even before a match is completed in Play Now Online, MyTEAM Unlimited, Play With Friends, and All-Star Team-up. The patch released this week should fix that.

There were also reported issues on MyTEAM where players observed their Collector Level was being reset and not reflecting the progress they were achieving. The latest “NBA 2K20” patch should fix that as well. Players are advised to access the Collector Level menu so the game can show their correct standing.

These are the only fixes included in this week’s patch. Developers promised that “many, many more fixes” will arrive on “NBA 2K20” but they did not provide a specific timeline. However, they can maintain the weekly release of a couple of fixes for the overall improvement of the game.

‘NBA 2K20’ patches do not stop the complaints

The availability of social media allowed “NBA 2K20” players to connect and share the game bugs they have been experiencing since the game was released last Sept. 6. While developers have apparently been working on delivering patches here and there, those still do not diminish the disappointment overwhelming the game’s official social media pages.

In the game’s business Facebook page alone where the patch notes are being released, most people commenting do not seem to be happy with the changes. Some pointed out the lack of transparency as developers simply leave every patch notes with the promise of “many more fixes” in the future. Other fans also alleged 2K Games of rushing the game and releasing it at its beta quality.
