‘My Hero Academia’ chapter 271: Tomura Shigaraki awakens after inheriting All For One’s deadly quirk

The pro-heroes are in for one huge problem in “My Hero Academia” chapter 271. Based on the events revealed in the manga’s 270th chapter, Tomura Shigaraki will finally awaken and will be armed with a powerful and deadly quirk.

“MHA” chapter 270 is yet to officially arrive but scans of the upcoming chapter have already been uploaded online. It will be titled “Succession” and will start with the capture of Doctor Garaki who will be ordered to stop the remaining Nomus.

X-Less will be told to deal with Shigaraki. However, he will notice that the machine running the villain’s upgrade wasn’t actually destroyed because it was protected by the tubes.

As he will be led away from his lab, Garaki will reminisce about his past and how he came into contact with All For One, whom he describes as a real living god. He will reveal that he actually gave his quirk called “Preservation,” which granted him twice the vitality of other people, to All For One. Meanwhile, “Boku no Hero Academia” chapter 270 will show Tomura to be in some kind of a dreamlike state inside his mind. He will find himself to be in his house that he unintentionally destroyed when he can’t control his quirk as a child.

He will also see his older sister Hana, whom he accidentally killed in that incident. “Don’t worry, I’m on your side Tenko,” Hana will tell her younger brother. “I’m sorry; I shouldn’t have done that to you. I was the one who said it had to be a secret.”

He will then see his mother next. “Tenko, do you still want to be a hero?” she will ask.

Shigaraki’s father will also appear in his dream. “Tenko, did you sneak into my study?” his father will ask. However, his hand will disintegrate the moment it touches Shigaraki’s.

All For One will appear in his dream as well. According to Garaki, All For One actually decided to give his original quirk to his successor Shigaraki. This could mean that Shigaraki meeting All For One in his dream symbolized the act of transference of AFO’s quirk.

In his dream, Shigaraki’s deceased family will try to stop him from getting closer to All For One. However, he will decide to obtain the quirk and will shrug off his family. “Don’t deny me anymore,” All For One will say as Shigaraki approaches.

The battlefield will get even more dangerous in “Boku no Hero Academia” chapter 271. The vat containing Shigaraki might have been destroyed but it appears that it won’t be able to stop Shigaraki inheriting All For One’s powers.

“BNHA” chapter 271 will reveal just who this “nightmare” might be. However, there’s a good chance that it might be Gigantomachia who finally received instruction from the recently-awakened Shigaraki.
