‘My Hero Academia’ Season 4 Release Date, Major Spoilers: What Fans Can Expect from the Shie Hassaikai Arc

“My Hero Academia” Season 4 is still five months away and fans are itching to get their hands on the fourth entry. This isn’t surprising as the upcoming installment’s arc is one of the darkest and riveting story ever told in the franchise so far, GamesNGuides reported.

Called Shie Hassaikai Arc, it will tell the story of an underground gang led by one Kai Chisaki, also known as Overhaul. His powers are one of the most dangerous Quirks seen in the anime as he can manipulate matter at will if he managed to touch it. What’s more, he can also fuse himself with others to gain their Quirk on top of his abilities. Overhaul will be the main antagonist in “My Hero Academia” Season 4, with his plans involving a girl named Eri.

Eri will be the main priority of the heroes in this arc on account of her Quirk being able to attack an individual’s gifts and render them useless. Overhaul will make use of this by weaponizing Eri’s blood. With such an invaluable resource on his hand, the heroes' goal is to rescue Eri and put an end to Overhaul’s organization. But the main protagonists will be dealing with several mishaps and complications in “My Hero Academia” Season 4.

Among them are the subordinates of Overhaul himself. Although these pawns are easy pickings when alone, their coordinated efforts make it difficult for the police and heroes to overcome. This is especially true during the first part of the Shie Hassaikai Arc where the protagonists raid a house only to be met with heavy resistance from Overhaul’s men. What’s more, their task is to simply delay the authorities long enough for Overhaul to escape along with Eri. In short, “My Hero Academia” Season 4 will feature a rescue mission where the good guys are racing against time.

Fortunately, several heroes in training step up to the plate and overcome their insecurities through iron determination. Suneater will be among those who will be highlighted during this arc, with his Quirk taking center stage. Of course, the raid doesn’t necessarily go as planned and things become heated during the wild chase. And as can be expected, the plot culminates into one of the most exciting battles ever told in the series. Regarding its release date, “My Hero Academia” Season 4 has been scheduled to drop this October and fans can’t wait for this dark arc to take place.
