Platinum-selling country music star Miranda Lambert may be past the trauma that her 2015 divorce from "The Voice" coach Blake Shelton had put her through. The Miranda Lambert-Blake Shelton breakup was so devastating for the femme country star that Lambert even refused to discuss what happened between Shelton and his new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, for a long time.
Lambert said that her healing started with the timely birth of her sixth studio album, "Weight of These Wings." The album was where Lambert poured most of her heart and soul, with songs like “You Wouldn't Know Me” and “Use My Heart” painting an honest picture of a woman in pain while dealing with the worst moments of her life. The album won the 2017 American Country Music Awards for Album of the Year, adding to the list of Lambert's already prodigious achievements as a country musician.
Down the road of love post-Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert has been more private about her relationships compared to her marriage with Shelton. Lambert has had Anderson East to thank for more than two years of love and, more recently, a possible relationship with Evan Felker of Turnpike Troubadours fame. Lambert and Felker, who is a recent divorcee himself, have made no public confirmations regarding their relationship aside from the dissolution of Felker's year-and-a-half marriage with Staci Nelson.
Unfortunately, Miranda Lambert's Evan Felker 2018 romance isn't without its issues as it seems Lambert and Felker's relationship may have overlapped with the Turnpike Troubadour frontman's marriage, as well as Lambert's relationship with Anderson East.
Blake Shelton, who released his own post-divorce album, “If I'm Honest” -- which had material that lamented on his own experiences of infidelity -- tweeted about his ex-wife's love life news back in April.
Been taking the high road for a long time.. I almost gave up. But I can finally see something on the horizon up there!! Wait!! Could it be?! Yep!! It’s karma!!
— Blake Shelton (@blakeshelton) April 25, 2018
Miranda Lambert continued to be more private about her relationship decisions and did not reply to the caustic Shelton tweet. While her more recent relationship may seem tumultuous at best given the circumstances, maybe somewhere Miranda Lambert just took some advice from Blake Shelton to be able to get past him.
