Miranda Lambert has been on concert tours for the past several months. But despite her busy music career, reports claim that she has not yet moved on from ex-husband Blake Shelton.
Another rumor insisted that Lambert will be starring on a reality show focused on her life after their divorce. But are these stories true?
Recently, several so-called tipsters were quoted by numerous tabloids insisting that Lambert is still hurt by what happened to her marriage with Shelton. For one, a source reportedly told InTouch Weekly, "Even though it's been more than three years now, Miranda and Blake's divorce feud is still going strong – and no one is safe."
Aside from statements of this nature, reports are also speculating that Miranda Lambert has yet to fully move on from Blake Shelton through the lyrics in her newest songs. The same InTouch report took note of some of the words in the song “Got My Name Changed Back," included in the latest album by Lambert's band, Pistol Annies. A couple of lines in the song says: “I don't wanna be a Mrs. on paper no more / I got my name changed back.”
Since Lambert got divorced from Shelton and the latter found a new love in Gwen Stefani, tabloids reports claiming to know how Lambert is doing have been relentless. So another, more recent rumor claimed that the singer wants to spill the beans on her own terms — through a TV reality show.
A paper called Star reported, via Gossip Cop, that Lambert is preparing for the premiere of her reality show. Star’s story was purportedly according to an insider close to the country music star.
However, the celeb rumor fact-checking site clarified that Miranda Lambert’s representative, Marcel Pariseau, has vehemently denied the existence of a reality show project. Gossip Cop shared Pariseau's statement, “There is, and never has been, any interest in Miranda doing or participating in a reality TV show about her life or her music.”
Miranda Lambert married Blake Shelton in 2011 but they parted ways for good in 2015. “This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately,” the ex-couple said in a joint statement announcing their split.
