LAS VEGAS, Jan. 19, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The nation's leading health and welfare flight organization, Miracle Flights, recently named Mark E. Brown the new CEO of the organization. The charity enables children with rare and life-threatening medical conditions to gain access to specialized, out-of-state medical care through commercial flights.
Brown's career spans 25 yrs. of both local and international business experience. He is the former Founder of Mark Brown Strategies, CEO of Zen Entertainment, President and Partner of R &R Partners, Founder and CEO of Brown & Partners Advertising, Executive Vice-President of Station Casino, Senior Vice-President of The Howard Hughes Corporation, and Senior Legislative Assistant for Sen. Chic Hecht.
Brown's achievements also transcend into the charitable sector, with a plethora of philanthropic pursuits, such as former Chair of the Southern Nevada YMCA, head of philanthropic giving for both The Howard Hughes Corporation and Station Casinos, Chairman of the Torino Foundation, National Trustee for Cancer Research Centers, UNLV's Special Committee to the President, founding director of Summerlin Hospital, Chair of the Clark County School District's School Growth Committee, UMC's Children's Miracle Network's Community Relations Committee Chair, and Founder and Director of Service 1st Bank of Nevada.
