Newlyweds Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth continue to swoon their fans with their social media posts professing their love for one another. Most recently, Cyrus shared a personal note in time for her husband’s birthday. The actor turned 29 last Jan. 13.
Cyrus recalled, in the note, that she met Hemsworth when he was just 19 and proceeded to list her “favorite things about [her] favorite dude.” She started off by saying she loves the way he looks at her and the animals in their care.
The special birthday message also revealed some details about Cyrus and Hemsworth such as their love for the 1993 coming-of-age film “The Sandlot.” While the “Hunger Games” star might not be a big fan of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” as much as his wife is, Cyrus thanked Hemsworth for caring enough to listen to her stories about the reality competition show for drag queens.
“I love YOU. Unconditionally. … I respect you and you respect me. If the world had more of this type of understanding we wouldn’t be building more walls and bridges,” the former Disney child star wrote. At one point, while making references to a shrunken t-shirt, Cyrus gushed over the fact that she still typed “boyfriend” as it probably slipped her mind momentarily that she is now married to Hemsworth.
The couple first met while working on the movie “The Last Song,” which premiered in 2010. Cyrus and Hemsworth got married last December after a private ceremony was held at the singer’s Tennessee home. Their fans were extremely surprised after some photos were leaked despite a prior request to their guests to refrain from taking pictures during the intimate event.
On Dec. 26, 2018, a couple of days since the leaked photos made it online, Cyrus confirmed the news by also posting pictures taken during their wedding. She also confirmed that Vivienne Westwood made the dress she wore by tagging the designer label’s official Instagram page in one of the images.
