Michael Schumacher is probably the most well-known Formula 1 racing driver in the world but sadly, he is not visible now after suffering from a severe head injury due to a skiing accident. While the incident happened more than five years ago, his current health condition still won’t allow him to be “normal.”
And by “normal,” it means he can’t go out to be public because he might still be bedridden or unable to walk or speak. But there is also the possibility that he can at least stand on his own and move about without help now but just do not know his real health condition because his family prefers not to divulge it to the public.
Most probably, the best update that Michael Schumacher’s family had ever released within the last five years is that the F1 legend is in good hands and being cared of. This information came when Schumi’s family posted a long message on Facebook to celebrate his 50th birthday.
“You can be sure that he is in the very best of hands and that we are doing everything humanly possible to help him,” part of the note reads. “Please understand if we are following Michael's wishes and keeping such a sensitive subject as health, as it has always been, in privacy.”
At any rate, aside from his health condition, many people are wondering where Michael Schumacher is now. This is because there were reports that, from his home in Switzerland, he was transferred to a medical facility in the U.S. while others say that he and his family had moved to Majorca, Spain. The different facts confused fans so they are asking where he really is today.
According to Express, Michael Schumacher Michael Schumacher is still staying in his Swiss home where he is receiving continuous medical treatment and rehabilitation. The publication notes that at least this is what most people believe for now.
Meanwhile, to honor Michael Schumacher, F1 produced a documentary to showcase the racing champ’s incredible achievements. Viewers will see how the German driver made a name in the racing field and went on to become the best. The show titled “Michael Schumacher - The Making of a Legend” is available for viewing on F1 TV.
